Welcome Lorenzo Calandra Buonaura

Details
Published: 19 March 2025

Welcome Lorenzo! Lorenzo is  a master's student from the university of Padua and is joining the the Cryo team for his master's project. He will work on designing modular trap blocks for surface traps that can be used to simplify trap design and make it more flexible. This involves simulating trapping potentials to optimize the electrode geometries and investigate the usability of the trap blocks for different experimental setups.
